Mumbai, January 20: On the eve of golden jubilee and anniversary celebration of the installation day of Shri Samsthana Gokarna Parthagali Jeevothama Math at Wadala, seven days celebration programmes have been started here today. Shrimad Vidyadhiraja Theertha Shripada Odeyar, the pontiff of Shri Samsthana Gokarna Parthagali Math arrived Wadala today evening.

The venerable swamiji arrived Parsi colony at Dadar on Tuesday evening at the time of sunset. The devotees welcomed swamiji with poorna kumbha and received his blessigs at Shri Rama temple at Dwarakanath Bahawan of Wadala.

After arriving Math, swamiji had the darshan of Bhagwan Shri Rama and performed pushparchana. Later, he preached and blessed the devotees. Nagesh K Phovkar, the Executive President of Gokarna Math Wadala, Secretary - Ullas D Kamath, Honorary Treasurer - Govinda S Bhat, President of GSB Seva Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava Committee - N.N. Pal, Kamalaksha Saraf and other office bearers were present on this occasion.

“On the eve of Golden Jubilee celebration of Math, Laksha Tulasi Archana will be performed today morning and cultural programmes will be performed in the evening at Rama mandir. On 22nd Thursday - Rama Moola Mantra Japa Havana, Poornahuthi, Deepothsava will be performed in the evening. On 23rd Friday, Laghu Vishnu Havana Parayana will be performed in the morning and Durga Namaskar in the evening and on 24th Saturday, Laghu Vishnu Havana Parayana, Poornahuthi at noon, silver Tulabhara of Shrimad Vidyadhiraja Theertha Swamiji and cultural programmes will be performed. On 25th Sunday morning, Thaptha Mudradharan, Prathishta Mahothsav Shathakalasharchane and Kanakabhisheka (Shatha Swarna Abhisheka of 108 gold coins, 3 grams usable coins), Maha mangalarathi at noon will be performed by Swamiji. Nagara Utsav and Digvijaya procession along with tablo will take place in the evening. On 26th Monday morning, Thaptha Mudradharan, religious stage programme at noon will be performed and delegates of the community will be felicitated” said the office bearer of the temple.
