“There are many generous persons in the industry”: Sudheer Shetty

Mumbai, June 14: “There are no fields without Bunts. They achieve success through their hard work. Most of the Bunt people are rich not only in money but in heart also. In hotel industry, many generous Bunt people are there. With the co-operation of these people, funding is not a difficult task. Bunt’s Association is equivalent to our mother. It is our duty to love and respect mother”-said Sudhir V Shetty, the Managing director of Charisma Builders.

Sudhir Shetty said these words on Sunday morning in the inaugural function of Annual Educational and Social Welfare, held in memory of late Vasu K Shetty by Bunt’s Association Mumbai at Radhabai Thimmappa Bhandary Auditorium, Kurla (E).

Prabhakar L Shetty-the president of the association inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Sudhakar S Hegde-the managing director of Thunga Group of Hotels was present as honarary guest. He delivered the scholarship and financial aid to the talented and disabled students and distributed pensions to the widows and other donations to the needy people.

“The purpose of establishing this association has been fulfilled through our service in the field of social, educational, religious and culture. This is our duty to continue the same. In Mumbai there are so many families facing financial problems. To become financially strong, children’ of those families should become educated. Bunt’s students should get the benefit of financial support and encouragement offered by Bunt’s Association” – said Prabhakar Shetty.

Sudhakar Hegde said “By joining to IAS and IPS Bunt’s students should serve the nation. Because of the co-operation of all, this committee has been delivering the educational aid to deprived students of this community”

In the introductory speech, Nagriguthu Vivek Shetty expressed his views. During the occasion, Dr. Shridhara Shetty-the principal of S M Shetty College, Seema Sablokh-the principal of S M Shetty junior college, K Ramachari from Karnataka Free Night High School, Somashekar Hegde from Nithyananda Free Night High School were honored.

Padmanabha S Payyade-the vice president of the association, CA. I R Shetty-honarary treasurer, Kishore Kumar Shetty-joint secretary, Mahesh S Shetty-joint treasurer, Yappanna M Shetty-Asst.Executive president of higher education committee, Bhaskar Shetty Karnad-secretary, CA Ramesh Shetty-treasurer were present at the dais.

A musical programme was performed by Ganesh Yarmal and group. Ranidranath Bhandary – the executive president of cultural committee and Sudhir V Shetty honored the entertainment group. The programme began with bunt’s song; Prashanthi D Shetty sang the prayer. Ashok Pakkala welcomed all and conducted the programme.
