Arrangement of 100 sites under yakshashraya project: Sathish Patla

Mumbai, August 09: “The Yakshadhruva Trust has been formed to encourage and protect yakshagana, the art form of coastal Karnataka and for the welfare of the Yakshagana artists. This trust was established last year in view of catering the needs of the artisits. Now this trust is planning to provide hundred sites to the financially backward artists of yakshagana. To bring this project into reality we expect co-operation from all”-said Sathish Shetty Patla, the founder president of Yakshadhruva Foundation and renowned Bhagavath of Shri Kateel Yakshagana group.

Sathish Shetty Patla said these words, at the meeting of Yakshadhruva Foundation Trust, Mumbai. The meeting was held on Sunday at the Kabethiguthu Kashi Siddhu Shetty mini hall of Bantara Bhawan, Kurla(E) under the presidentship of Karnire Vishwanatha Shetty, the president of the trust committee, Mumbai.

Prabhakara L Shetty-the president of Bunts Sangha Mumbai, Ulthuru Mohandas Shetty-Hon.Chief secretary, Padmanabha S Payyade-the honarary president of foundation, Mumbai Committee, Pravin B Shetty-Honarary secretary, Aikala Ganesh Shetty- the vice president and Ashok Shetty Permude were present at the dais.

Prabhakara Shetty, Karnire Vishvanatha Shetty, Ashok Shetty Permude and Padmanabha Payyade expressed their views and offered their co-operation for the huge project - Yakshadhruva Foundation.

During the occasion Diwakar Shetty Indrali, Ravindranath Bhandary, Prakash T Shetty Nalyaguthu, Shivaram G Shetty, Arun Yarmal, Vasantha Shetty Palimaru, Ajekar Balakrishna Shetty, Munnalaigutthu Sachidananda Shetty, other artists and cultural organizers were present. Ashok Pakkala welcomed all and compered the programme.
