Mumbai, October 11: Mr. Narayana R Gowda, the Executive President of Jayalakshmi Co-operative Credit Society Limited managed by Sri Adhichunchanagiri Seva Samiti Mumbai, the Founder President of Okkaliga Sangha Maharashtra and the MLA of KR Pete of Mandya District of Karnataka has got the esteemed Doctorate degree.

In a simple function organized at Sai Palace hotel of Andheri (E), Mumbai, the Sub-Registrar of the Mumbai Department of South America University that issued Doctorate Certificate – Dr D V Kulakarni and Vaishali Kulakarni offered the doctorate degree to Narayana Gowda and wished him.

“On the basis of the recommendations of the Vice Chancellor, permission of Syndicate and Country Co-ordinator India, it has been decided to issue the esteemed Degree to Narayana Gowda who deserves as an eligible candidate by providing great contributions through helping the students who are the future power of the nation by having special interest on education, assistance and co-operation for the development of the rural poor people, his service in the field of finance through enabling the people who have come to Mumbai to have self-employment through co-operative organization, developmental achievements and assistance to government in the field of tourism and hospitality through his own hotel business, development of the slum people, great contributions to his constituency as a politician and rural development, etc.”, announced the Registrar and the Evaluation Officer of the South America University through an official announcement to the Editor of the University News of India’s Central Office of South America University at Cotla Marg of New-Delhi.

Though Mr. Ashok R Gowda, South America University’s country co-ordinator of India had said that this honorary doctorate would be awarded during the convocation programme at the India’s Central office of South America University at New-Delhi that would be held during the last week of August, due to some unavoidable circumstances, the programme got postponed and was conducted today at Mumbai.
