WEALTH OF FRIENDSHIP IS AN EXCELLENT WEALTH OF LIFE: AMBATHANAYA MUDHRADY

Mumbai, October 14: “The wealth of friendship is an excellent wealth of life and this is what GTA earned. GTA earns and maintains his friendship with all who are not his blood relations and his attachment is sacred. This is an obligatory programme and is the symbol of emotions”, said Mr. Haridasa Ambathanaya Mudradi, the renowned senior writer and the yakshagana artist.

Ambathanaya Mudradi spoke these words on Sunday during the 60th greeting ceremony of the Tulu-Kannadigas friend G T Acharya and the release of the book ‘Sneha-Sampadha’ at Dr. M Visweswaraiah auditorium at Matunga (W).

Since Usha made his life brighter who can identify and honor people, GTA has become the symbol of harmony by uniting all religious people, because of which he has become the asset of all. In Mumbai only, we have non-casteism feeling where as castes are increasing in our places and humanity is vanishing. Mumbai which is growing beyond casteism is an exemplary one. His life is gem. GTA is a philanthropic person who is satisfied with his services. Youthfulness is only for the body and not for the mind and this applies to GT Acharya. Let him who received a book for social service for the first time live for hundred years”, wished Ambathanaya Mudradi on behalf of all.

Kadandhale Suresh S Bhandary, the Managing Trustee of Kachooru Sri Nageshwara Temple Barkur and the President of the Greeting Committee presided over the ceremony and the industrialist Jayakrishna A Shetty released the greeting book ‘Sneha Sampadha’ during the stage programme.

The President of Akhila Bharatha Tulu Okkootta Mangaluru – Dharmapal U Devadiga, Executive President of S M Shetty Educational Group – Jayarama N Shetty, social workers – Nitte Damodar V Acharya, H Babu Poojary Jogeshwari were present as guests. As a part of 60th birthday celebration, the guests felicitated G T Acharya and Usha G Acharya by offering shawl, big garland, fruits, greeting book, souvenir, greeting certificate and fund.

The guests delivered contextual speeches and said that his service interest is a gift and model to the entire society and wished that this to be continued in future also. GT Acharya and Usha G Acharya couple answered for the greeting ceremony and Sneha-Sampadha book and thanked all.

In the presidential address, Suresh Bhandary said, “When we born, we don’t have caste, religion, etc. But, due to the interest of the society, he learns all these and forgets humanity. He becomes dolls in their hands and spends his life wastefully. Humanity is more important than caste, religion, etc. GT Acharya is in this list. His service mind is highly appreciable. Hence, he is eligible for Dharmadarshi”.

On this occasion, the documentary film ‘G T A artistic life’ was exhibited. As a part of cultural programme, members of various associations and organizations performed dance, yakshaghana in dance form, etc. the artists of Perdoor Mela performed the yakshaghana “Bhaktha Chandrahasa”.
