Mumbai, October 30: “The banks will develop only by customers. So customers are the assets of the bank. Let this famous and customer friendly bank develop as a public friendly institution”-said former MLA of the Vitla constituency A Rukmaya Poojary.

The 80th branch of Bharath Co-operative bank (Mumbai) was inaugurated on Friday morning at Bhaveshwar building, Dr Anny Besant Road near Nehru Planetarium at Worli. The Executive President Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the new branch by cutting the ribbon; Rukmaya Poojary inaugurated the branch by lighting the lamp.

The executive vice-president, Advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM service, Pushpalatha N Salian inaugurated the locker facilities, The Managing director and the chief CEO-C R Mulky inaugurated the computerized services and wished success.

“This 80th branch of Bharath bank is equal to the achievement of Bhageeratha. Because of the confidence and foresightedness of Jaya Suvarna this achievement came true. I am welcoming you all for the opening of this branch, which is going to give service to our area. Let the bank become trustworthy of customers and traders. The bank’s name itself is “Bharath”, so let it spread all over India and bring honor to the nation”-said the senior Hotel industrialist, NCP leader Sadananda Shetty.
