Inauguration of Ryan’s 14th International Children’s Festival

Mumbai, Jan 07: Nowadays one can see intolerance, dissatisfaction and lack of peace all over the world. Instilling samskara in children may change this world a better place to live. We should encourage the talents in our children to be able to face the globalization. Globalization can produce equality. All nations join hands together to achieve this. Equality is attained when all the races, sectors of the world come near and share and respect the feelings globally. Empowerment of children helps to build a healthy society. –said Madam Grace Pinto, the managing director of Ryan’s group.

With the intention of integration of global diversity in a single platform and integration of culture and cultural values through young cultural ambassadors, the Ryan’s International Education Group symbolicallyinauguratedthe “four day 14th International Children’s Art festival here on Thursday at Ryan Global School, Andheri (W). Madam Pinto addressed the students of all countries.

“This festival is conducted to get acquainted with the cultural types of different nations. This time, 12000 children from many countries are invited to this programme. This is a wonderful achievement to India. Children from India, Bangladesh, Romania, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, Iran, Latvia, Nigeria, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Singapore, and South Korea, Srilanka, Turkey, Jambia, Zimbabwe and children of other countries participated in this global event and will be presenting their dreams and objectives about the future. In addition, children will exhibit the historic culture and heritage through the “World Village” stalls. This festival will be grandly held for four day at Shree ShanmuganandaSaraswathi Auditorium, Sion King Circle, and Mumbai. ChennemananiVidyasagar Rao –the Governor of MaharashatraGovernment will be inaugurating the festival.” – informedRyan Pinto CEO of the Ryan group of institutions.

The festival began with reading the message by Dr. Augustine F. Pinto the founder of the Ryan Group of Institutions. Ryan Pinto read the Bible and prayed for the success of the festival. Kum.Yashvi Khanna welcomed the gathering. Kum. S. Deepna, Kum. Khushian and Kum. Anaya Grace welcomed all in Hindi, Marathi and French languages respectively. Students of Ryan Global School performed prayer and welcome dances. Snehal Pinto, Sonal Pinto from the Ryan group of institutions honoured the children of various countries according to Indian culture. The festival organizer Uthkarsh Marva and Teacher Margaret Kuvellocompered the programme. CEO Nethi Srinivasan proposed vote of thanks.
Later, the children from different countries went in a procession at the town of Yamuna NagaraLokhandwala wearing costumes depicting the culture of their respective countries and brought liveliness to the children’s festival.

MUMBAI GEARS UP FOR "CELEBRATING DIVERSITY"

Mumbai, Jan.07: Celebrate the spirit of childhood at International Children's Festival of Performing Arts (ICFPA) over the weekend from 7th – 10th January, 2016

Mumbai, 07January 2016: The International Children's Festival of Performing Arts (ICFPA) by Ryan International Schooltoday kicked off with the Opening Day Parade. The theatrical parade with all national and international participants wore colorful costumes of their respective nations spreading the message of Peace and Harmony. Singing together, shouting the slogans for a peaceful world,these young global ambassadors will carry forward the mission of creating a world without violence, hatred and war.

True to its theme "Celebrating Diversity", the festival hosts participants from 17 countries around the world in an attempt to build a global platform of performances of dance, drama, music, puppetry and various other performing art genres. The multicultural exchange program is conducted in 19 international performances that aim to bridge the gap between all ages and nationalities.

Ms. Grace Pinto, Managing Director of the Ryan International Group of Institutions, who is a visionary behind the festival and aims at enabling social development through strengthening education for all stated , “The International Children’s Festival of Performing Arts (ICFPA) is a unique forum which celebrates diversity from various parts of the globe. Children have immense energy and events of this nature help them channelize these creative talents making them more confident. Our motto to develop ‘Excellence in Education and All Round Development’ remains undeterred.We thank our Lord Jesus for the privilege of being able to host a mammoth event of this nature in order to provide a symbiotic experience of internationalism to our students”.

This event is dedicated to celebrating diversity & creativity. It is scheduled to take place at three different venues in the city- Shanmukhananda Hall, St. Andrews Auditorium & Ryan Global School from the 7th– 10thJanuary, 2016. It is open for all.

The festival creates the necessary magic for children to learn the fun way and to celebrate childhood and to keep the spirit alive through creativity.
