Mumbai, Jan 04: Hard work brings good yield and a contented life. Lord Krishna is a selfless God, and a spiritual energy to the whole world. If we become his devotees human life will be more fruitful. By installing Sri Krishna the society will achieve growth and these stone temples are needed for this type of service. Thus Mumbai has become second Udupi-said Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji, the Pontiff of Sri Madhwacharya Mahasamsthana Udupi and Sri Pejawar Mutt .

Shri Pejawarashri inaugurated the stone temple at Prabhat Colony, Santacruz (E) and blessed the devotees.

Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji inaugurated the Sri Krishna Pratishtana Mahotsava and said mother earth has the power to bring down the things that have gone up, but Lord Krishna can lift up the people who have fallen down. God’s grace is necessary for humans. Selfish humans have forgotten God and their lust have kept them away from God. Let’s serve Lord Krishna and make our life a meaningful one. Let there be harmony among us. Let the people of Karnataka and Maharashtra continue the same harmonious life and get all wealth and wishes from Lord Krishna.

The young Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt Shri Vishwaprasanna Swamiji installed the Shri Krishna statue by performing the Kalashabisheka, Maha arathi in the early morning. While blessing the devotees Swamiji said that “Shri Krishna of Dwaraka settled down in Udupi and now he is settling down in Mumbai, this is the result of efforts of Mumbai people.

Later, Brahmakalashotsava, Ashtabandha, distribution of Prasadam, Tulasi Archane, distribution of Mahaprasadam and Annasantharpane were performed.

Harshavardhana Patil the Home Minister of Maharashtra, Dr. A.S. Rao the Honorary President of Shri Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta, Dr. Suresh S. Rao Kateel the Working President, Nagarahalli Prahlada Acharya, Pernankila Haridasa Bhat and Administrative Officers of Shri Pejawara Mutt Mumbai branch Renjala Ramadasa, Shrihari Bhat and Niranjan Gogte were present at the stage programme on Saturday night. Pejawarashri felicitated Tonse Vijayakumar Shetty the founder of the Kalajagathu institution, D.P. Anantha Karnataka State Representative of Tirupathi Governing Council and Harshavardhan Patil.

The unity among the Mumbaikars is a model to the nation. In future also lets do not show bias among people of Maharashtra and Karnataka and live a life of harmony. Pejawarshree is another avatar of Madhwacharya and we are so blessed to have them among us-said Harshavardhan.

Renjala Gururaja Upadhya, Nitte Prasanna Acharya, Gopalakrishna Acharya Chitrapura, Amboli Shripathi Bhat, Belle Madhwaraja Bhat, Vasudeva Udupa, K.V. Murthy Yerkadithaya, B.R. Gurumurthy, Dr.Seetharama S. Alva, T. B. Hunnur, R.V. Kalluraya, R. L. Sudhir Shetty, Architect Vinayaraj Suvarna, Dhanraj Puthran, Shekar Salian Santracruz were present in the programme. Vishsweshatheertha Swamiji honoured the interior designers M. T. Biju, Lakshmi Vijayakumar Shetty, Ramya Ananth and Bhagyashree Harshavardhan by giving Mantrakshathe.

The Bhajana programme was led by Vishwanth Shetty Kaup of Sonata Symphony’s group and talented children performed cultural programmes. Avinash Shastri, Krishna Yadav Acharya honoured Swamijis by offering flowers and fruits. A.S. Rao and Asha A. Rao, Suresh S. Rao and Vijayalakshmi Suresh Rao couple performed Arathi to the Swamijis.

Renjala Ramadasa Upadhyaya delivered introductory speech and said “Pejawara Mutt Mumbai branch is celebrating its golden jubilee. The Bhavan was built 50 years back as per the wish of Pejawarshri and suffered a lot to reach this stage.

The programme began with Vedaghosha. Surendra Kumar Hegde introduced the guests and those who received the honour and compered the programme. Dr. A. S. Rao welcomed all. Suresh Rao proposed vote of thanks.
