KCWA Talents Competition 2017

Kuwait, Dec.19: KCWA Talent Competition was held on Friday, 15 December 2017 at the Indian Community School, Khaitan. The event began at 2 pm with class room competitions, such as Kids Photo Dressed with Character Costume, Coloring Christmas Tree, Coloring Christmas Card, Dub smash, Object Drawing, Art & Craft (Create Smileys, Go Bananas) and Quiz.

 

 

The stage events commenced with an opening prayer by Rev. Fr. Blany Pinto Sdb, focusing mainly for the success of the event and blessed the Organizers, participants and the crowd. President, Hilary Stevan Rego welcomed the gathering and encouraged participants. Dr. Arathi Krishna, Dy. Chairman of NRI Forum Karnataka who was on a visit to Gulf Countries to brief on NRI Policies and facilities of Karnataka Government addressed the gathering on the importance of NRK Card.

Stage events like Konkani Carols Singing, Theme Enactment, Mangaloreans Got Talent & Group Dance Competitions for Juniors and Seniors were held. The Finals of KCWA’s First ever Dancing Star for Juniors and Seniors mesmerized the crowd.

The competitions were judged by Rev. Fr. Blany Pinto SDB, Joe D’ Souza, Nasreen Abdulla, Manoj Kumar, Shilpa Tyagi, Laveena Praphulla, Jyothi Colaco, Shalini Alva, Santhosh Naidu and Vicky Tanaji.

Ruth Clara Veigas and Harry Fernandes compared the event. The event was successfully coordinated by Arun D’ Souza & Rinna D’ Souza and was well supported by rest of the Managing Committee members and Support Committee Members.

KCWA wishes to thank the management of ICSK for the school premises, Waves Events & Rentals for the sound, Alban D’ Souza for the photography, the judges who graced the event and most importantly to all those who came forward and participated, making this event a grand success.
