26TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF MATRUBOOMI CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT SOCIETY

Mumbai, July 27: The 26th Annual General Meeting of Matruboomi Co-operative Credit Society Limited, managed by Bunts Association Mumbai was held on Sunday morning at Smt. Radhabhai T Bhandary Auditorium of Bunts Bhavan of Bhandary Estate situated at Kurla East. It was presided over by Mr. Ratnakara Shetty, the Executive President of the society. CA|Shankar, the President of Bunts Association Mumbai and the Director of the society inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

The Directors of the Bunts – Aikala Harish Shetty, Karnire Vishwanatha Shetty, Dr. Prabhakar Shetty B, Mahesh S Shetty, Ratnakar G Shetty, Kishore Kumar M Shetty, Nagriguthu Vivek Shetty, Karunakara M Shetty, Mundappa S Payyade, Mrs. Uma K Shetty, Santhosh M Javaddhale and the President of Bombay Bunts Association – Shyama N Shetty were present on the dais.

In the presidential address, Mr. Ratnakara Shetty, the Executive President of the Society said, “There is more responsibility in modifying the society as a Co-operative Bank. Everything should be managed carefully in forming it as a bank owned by Bunts.The current banking system is facing severe competition. I will definitely make Matruboomi Co-operative Bank Limited as your bank by overcoming all these obstacles. With all your co-operation, the Management Board of Matruboomi will put forth all its efforts in creating history in the field of financial system”.

Mr. Shankar Shetty said, “Our aim is to have a bank owned by Bunts. We also intend to make the entire Bank as the asset of all Bunts. The current Management Board is ready to face all the challenges as per the directives of RBI or the Society. We also hope to bring the bank into prominence in Mumbai”.

The ex Executive Presidents, Senior Manager of the Society – Mrs. Mallika P Shetty, Manager – Mrs. Shashikala S Shetty, Managers – Kishore M Patil and Shankar B Shetty were present during the meeting. Ullooruguthu Mohanadas Shetty, the Vice President welcomed all. Jayaram A Shetty, the Honorary Secretary held the meeting session and informed about the activities of the guiding institution. CA|Ramesh B Shetty, the Honorary Treasurer provided information regarding the accounting statements. Jaya A Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
