Vokkaligara Sangha Maharashtra held special Annual General Body Meeting

Mumbai, July 20: The special annual general body meeting of Vokkaligara Sangha Maharashtra (R) wals held today on Sunday afternoon at Kamgar Kalyana Bhavan, Gondavli, Andheri (E) under the presidentship of Rangappa C. gowda, the president of the association.

Narayana R. Gowda, the former president of the association and legislator of K.R Pete was present as the chief guest and unveiled the new web site of the association. Narayana Gowda said, ‘This association was founded with a name Sri Adichunchanagiri Seva Samiti Mumbai and is developing with the blessings of Dr. Sri Jagadguru Bala Gangadharanatha Swamiji. One mindedness of the community people is necessary to take this society to the peak as per Swamiji’s vision. This association has planned many projects and the co-operation of all the members is necessary to fulfill their dreams”.

Rangappa Gowda in his presidential address said, “There is a need of good will, brotherhood among Vokkaligas. Overall development of the society is possible by an integrated outlook. We should consider this association as an asset as it is working to provide a exalted and bright future to our future generation. Through this the development of the association and the society is possible. So, let us bring close the strength of Vokkaligas scattered all across Maharashtra and look forward to a happy, wealthy society”.

The chief secretary K. Raje Gowda welcomed all and presented the annual report and spoke “Vokkaligas have a rich heritage. This association is working with a vision of seeing integrity in religion-culture, social, religious, educational and financial services of the Vokkaligas who have a history of development and achievement. Let us all come together with a view to unite this community and let us instill society favored views”.
