Pravachan by Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sripada at Sri Pejawar Mutt; People must treat Dharma giving it a high place

Mumbai, sep 21:” Non-violence is the essence of Chaturmasya. The priests are the protectors of non-violence. When religions follow principles non-violence is possible. Some say there is no need of Dharma, which is wrong. Samskara is possible only by following Dharma “-said, Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sreepada-the chief seer of Puttige Mutt, Udupi.

Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji is celebrating 41st Chaturmasya Vrut in Mumbai. He blessed the devotees during three days Sri Krishna Pravachana series at the branch of Sri Pejawar Mutt at Prabhat Colony, santacruz (E). He was accompanied by Pujya swasti Sri Bhattaakalanka Bhattaaraka Pattaachaaryavarya Maha Swamiji of Sri swadhi Jain Mutt Sonda.

“Dharma is as important as breath. Religious matters are the prime things in life. Dharma should be followed throughout the life as we do not forge to breathe every moment. Dharma is a basic aspect of life. This should get important place in education also. Because religious freedom is the real Dharma” said Puttigeshree.

He opined, “Our union is such an amazing incident. There is a close relationship between our Sode Mutt and your Sonda Jain mutt. Though this is an unexpected visit it is an indication of start of good relationship.”

Prakash Acharya Ramakunja-the officer of the Pejawar mutt branch, Sri Hari BHat and Niranjan Gopte welcomed Sree. Dhananjay Adhikari welcomed Sree by offering garlands.

Unique union of two seers:

Pujya Swasti Sri Bhattaakalanka Bhattaaraka Pattaacharyavarya Maha Swamiji of Sri Swadhi Jain mutt Sonda and Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sreepada of Udupi Puttige Mutt were found seated in the same stage and both the seers greeted each other. The devotees received blessings from both the seers.

Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sripada will give pravachans today and tomorrow (sep 21-22) at 6pm at the Pejawar mutt branch and will bless the devotees. Prakash Achaya of Sri Pejawar Mutt requested the devotees of the city to come and receive blessings of Lord Sri Krishna.
