Mumbai: Annual sports meet of Karnataka Sangha which was organized as a part of 13th annual day and on the eve of Karnataka Rajyotsava was held at Sharmadhikari stadium, Kalyan on 18.10.15 and was inaugurated by Sanjay Patil and Gurudev Bhaskar Shetty. More than 200 athletes participated in this and the winners were awarded with smriti symbols. Sanjay Patil and Bhaskar Shetty announced their continuous support to the sports meet. Hotel Ramdev Ramesh Shetty, Prabhakar Hegde, Nanda Shetty were present and congratulated the participants and winners. The programme was conducted under the leadership of sports chairman Geeta Poojary and advocate Nutan Hegde, Darshana Sonkar, Prashanti Shetty assisted her.

Durgashtami Pooja was performed at the Brahmana Sabha Auditorium on 21st. Patron and vice president of Heggade Seva Samaja-Jayaram Hegde and his wife sat for the pooja. Vedamurthy Sri Laxminarayana Samaga performed the pooja rituals. Haldi Kumkum programme was sponsored by the present vice president of the association-Gopal Hegde and his wife Jayanti Hegde. Stree Seva Sangha and members of the association chanted Lalita Sahasranamavali and sang bhajans. Pooja Vratadharis and sponsors of Haldi Kumkum were honored on behalf of the association and were honoured giving pooja prasadam.

The founder president of the association Nanda Shetty, advisor and patron Ramesh Shetty, Ramdev were present.

The main programme of the association will be on 1st November on the day of Karnataka Rajyotsava and the programmecommittee, secretary, Nutan Hegde, Darshana Sonkar, women president, and president T S Upadhyaya have requested the co-operation from all the members and devotees to celebrate the 13th annual day.
