Learning many languages makes life easy – Fr.Lancy Pinto

Mumbai, August 11: The Maharashtra Konkan Association Mumbai celebrated its “Annual Talent Award-2016” function on Sunday at St.Jude church auditorium, Jerimeri. The president Benedicta Rebello presided over the programme.

Rev.Fr.Lancy Pinto – the parish priest of St.Jude church was present and presented the talent awards to the students who secured good marks in the 2015-16 examination. William D’souza Vakola and Walter D’souza were present and honored the students with Talent Award.

“By learning many languages, our life will become easier. It helps us to improve our relationships with people speaking other languages. Knowing many languages is an asset. The service of Konkan Association is unique as it always encourages people through the Konkani language. By participating in such kind of programmes we must receive peace and blessings.” said Fr.Pinto.

The programme was conducted under the leadership of John Veigas, Victor Peirera, and John Rodrigues. Leo Fernandez Jerimeri welcomed all, compeered the programme and introduced the activities of the institution. Vincent Castelino proposed the vote of thanks.
