Vasai Road-Mangalore-the special Train for Ganapathi Festival

Mumbai, 12: As a result of continuous effort of Railway Yathri sangha Borivali, Mumbai and Railway YathriSangha Udupi and GopalaC.Shetty- MLA of Borivali, the Request for special train for Ganapathi festival from Vasai road-Mangalore via Konkan route was inaugurated today at 1:45 at Vasai road Junction Railway station by running train no 00115.

Virar Shankar B.Shetty-the Honararyfounder President of the RailwayYatriSanghaBorivali Mumbai, the President-Shimanthoor launched the special train by showing the green signal. Before that, under the leadership of Harish Shetty-the advisor of the sangha, the MLAs who tried hard for this train were honoured by giving bouquets at the office of GopalC.Shetty the MLA. After that office bearers of the YatriSanghadiscussed about the other projects.

Vasai Road Junction Railway station master Rajesh Mhathre, Vice President of the Railway Yathri Sangha-Premanatha Kotian, Executive Secretary Oliver D’souza, Joint Secretary Rajith Suvarna, K.B.Poojary, Devendra Bunnan, Yashodhar V.Kotian, Ashok Shetty Vasai, Narayana Kukyan, Subhash Poojary, Mohan K Puthran, K.P.Poojary and others were present.

The train did not arrive on time and passengers got irritated :

The Ganapathi Feast special train which was supposed to leave from Vasai Road Junction Railway Station at 1.45 pm arrived late to the flat form and left the station two hours late which irritated the passengers. In the train there were 18 second class and general coaches. But as there were no AC coaches , the passengers had to suffer due to the hot weather.


The Railway Board announced the Timetable: The Train No. 00115 will depart from Vasai Road Junction on September 11th, 16th and 26ththrough Konkan Railway route viaPanvel, Rathnagiri, Goa(Mazgaon),Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkaland will reach Udupi on September 12 at 8.43 am, then to Mangalore at 11.00 am via Surathkal. Similarly, the train no 00116 will start from Mangalore on September 12thSaturday , 17th and 27that 6.00 pm and will reach Panvel at 11.40am and thenVasai Road Junction 1.00 pm on Sunday morning.Regarding this , R.L.Dais-the President of the Railway Yathri SanghaUdupi has alos given the information to the Railway passengers.
