Mumbai: Bollywood stars gazed upon by thousands of Mulundites.The suburbs of Mumbai witnessed one of the biggest event fest called the ‘Mulund Festival’ which was organised by Congress Leader Shri Charan Singh Sapra, Chairman of Sewak NGO. The festival has once again rocked the Eastern Suburbs by adding the adventurous journey and fun for Mulund. The idea to initiate this was a common celebration & exploring the talent among the youngsters. It was the 6th year of the fest and the Grand Finale last evening had some of the biggest names from the Bollywood industry present.

IPL Cricketer Mr. Pravin Tambe being felecitated wih an Award Mulund Book of Records by Shri Sanjay Nirupam - President MRCC. Also seen are Chairman Sewak NGO Charan Singh Sapra, Govind Singh & Sayed Ayub.

Personalities like Rohit Shetty encouraged the participants to do their best and enjoy every moment of the finale. Comedian Rajiv Thakur entertained all with his crackling jokes. The audience was seen mesmerized by the soulful voice of Playback Singer Kunal Ganjawala when he performed at the Grand Finale.

Actor and comedian Kapil Sharma walked in last and enthralled the crowds with his witty liners. TV Stars of SONY TV Sudeepa Singh & Sharad Malhotra enthused the younger crowd. MRCC President Shri Sanjay Nirupam presented Awards to the National Record Holders like IPL Cricketer Pravin Tambe, Journalist & Artist Prakash Joshi among others.

The Festival had a variety of competitions like Karaoke Singing, Dancing, Box Cricket, Body Building, Badminton, Painting, Rangoli, Marathon, Harley Davidson Bike Rally and many more events. The "Mulund Festival" as the name suggests was a celebration which united all the residents & inhabitants of Mulund in some or the other way. Mr. Sapra said that, “Every year Mulund Festival keeps getting bigger and we get participation not only from Mulund but from all over Mumbai”. This year around 15,000 people participated in various events across 4 days. The highest participation was in Marathon Run whereby not only youngsters but even senior citizens participated with full enthusiasm.
