Published On : 23 Dec 2015

Mumbai (The Hindu): The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday attached two more properties belonging to the Chhagan Bhujbal’s family as part of its action against the alleged illegal financial transactions by the family’s company, Parvesh Constructions.

“We have attached a plot of land in Bandra and a residential property in Santacruz belonging to Parvesh Constructions, which is owned by Pankaj and Samer Bhujbal,” an ED officer said. Pankaj and Sameer are the son and nephew of senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Chhagan Bhujbal. The officer said the market value of both the properties combined was around Rs 110 crore.

In November, the ED had attached a 25 acre plot near Kharghar worth Rs 160 crore owned by Devisha Infrastructure, another company owned by Pankaj and Sameer. The Maharashtra Anti Corruption Bureau had recently submitted its report on the properties owned by the Bhujbal family to the ED.
