20 injured as bus hits soil mound and falls on its side

Mangaluru, (The Hindu): About 20 passengers were injured when a private bus on its way from Karkala to Mangaluru fell on its side at Daddu in Kedinje village in Karkala taluk on Thursday.

According to the police, the bus hit a mound of soil and then fell on its side.

Three or four passengers who were severely injured have been shifted to a private hospital in Manipal, while the remaining passengers who sustained minor injuries have been moved to Srinivas Hospital in Mukka and the Government Hospital in Karkala.

A case was registered at the Karkala Rural Police Station limits. Investigation is
