Bengaluru, (DHNS): Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday said that five BJP leaders have been trying to lure Congress MLAs. Speaking to reporters, Shivakumar said, “The BJP leaders are in constant touch with Congress leaders. They are trying to lure them. It has become a routine for the five BJP leaders. I am aware of all these developments. I will disclose the details at the right time.” BJP leader K S Eshwarappa, however, dismissed the claims made by the Congress leaders.

Reacting to KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao’s remarks about the BJP’s attempts at a backdoor entry to power, Eshwarappa said that the Congress had adopted such tactics to form the government earlier. “The BJP has never adopted such measures. This government will not last long. The days of the coalition partners are numbered. The differences of opinion between the two parties will emerge soon,” he added.
