A new Cambridge English Exam Centre at Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri, Mangalore.

Moodbidri, Karnataka, 5 October: Cambridge English Language Assessment (part of the University of Cambridge) has launched a new Cambridge English Exam Centre at Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri, Mangalore.

The launch ceremony was graced by Air-Vice Marshal K Ramesh Karnik, Alva’a Education Foundation, and T K Arunachalam, Regional Director – South Asia, Cambridge Assessment English, who unveiled the plaque. Along with the guests, the Principal Prof. Vasant Kumar Nitte, faculties and students of Alva’s group were also present during the launch event. On this occasion, Alva’s Education Foundation also received the award from Cambridge English as one of the Best 50 Preparation centres in South Asia 2016-18. As part of this grand function, 162 students received their Cambridge English certificates from T K Arunachalam.

T K Arunachalam, Regional Director - South Asia, Cambridge English Language Assessment said, “We are happy to be associated with Alva’s Education Foundation and look forward to a very fruitful partnership ahead. This is our first authorized centre in Mangalore and we laud their initiative to provide a platform to help students in developing their language and communication skills and gain international certification. We are also delighted to recognize them as one of the Best 50 Preparation centers in South Asia.”

Air-Vice Marshal K Ramesh Karnik, Senior Professor, Alva’s Education Foundation said, “It is indeed our privilege to be associated with one of the oldest universities in the world. The international certification will help our students to set a benchmark in language proficiency which is very much essential before the student steps into the professional environment. We are immensely honored to be the recipient of the Best 50 Preparation centers in South Asia. This milestone will inspire the trainers and the students to excel in language learning and build in confidence.”

The Cambridge English exams for schools are categorized for various age groups within K-12 will help and further enhance the speaking, writing, reading and listening skills contributing to development of student’s personality. These exams are accepted in thousands of organizations worldwide and will be a value addition to their resume in their college/university applications to study abroad as well.

These exams open doors to higher education, improve employment opportunities, and increase choice of study or work for the students. With a Cambridge English Certificate, the student will be able to prove his English language skills to universities, employers and governments around the world.
