Ayyappa devotees to urge SC to review order

Mangaluru, (DHNS): Mangaluru Ayappa Seva Samithi, through Bhajan singing on October 9, will urge the Supreme Court to review its order on allowing women into the Sabarimala temple.

At a meeting convened in Sanghaniketan on Saturday, RSS and VHP leaders decided to convene a meeting of Ayyappa devotees at Kadri ground on October 9 (5 pm).

From Kadri grounds, Ayyappa devotees will take out a procession singing Bhajans to the Kadri temple. A prayer will be offered and a memorandum will be submitted to Centre on ensuring that the apex court’s order will not hurt the sentiments of Hindus.

RSS Dakshina Prantha Saha Karyavaha Prakash P S, VHP Prantha President Prof M B Puranik, Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and others were present.
