Belaku Award for the Vice Principal of St Claret College

Fr Vineeth George, the Vice Principal of St Claret College was presented the Belaku Award for Journalism and Education by Justice Avali Nagaraj (Retd) of the Karnataka High Court during the All Karnataka Literary Conference held on 26.08.2018 in Bengaluru. Fr Vineeth, a gold medalist post graduate in public relations, has served as the sub-Editor of Deccan Chronicle and also as the Public Relations Officer of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, New Delhi, under the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

He gave up his career in 2006 and since then is engaged in the field of education. He is a recipient of the Rashtriya Gaurav Award for his contributions in the field of higher education. He is also a Life Fellow of the United Writers’ Association of India
