Bengaluru accident victim's heart to be airlifted to Hyderabad

Bengaluru: The heart of Pandit Shivaraye Baje, 30, who was declared brain dead will be airlifted from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.

The recipient is a woman at Yashoda hospital, Hyderabad. The heart would be taken in a chartered flight from the HAL airport.

Baje's liver, kidneys and cornea have also been retrieved at Victoria hospital.

Baje was hit by a private bus on Thursday, when he was on his way to work. He worked at Japan metal systems private limited as a safety officer.
