Published On : 25 Apr 2015

Bengaluru,( DHNS): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team on Friday visited the house of Hanumantharayappa, father-in-law of IAS officer D K Ravi, who was found dead at his official apartment in the City on March 16.

The CBI officials spoke to Hanumantharayappa at his house in Nagarabhavi and also took the Digital Video Recorders (DVR) of CCTVs of his house from him.

Sources said that though the CBI team spoke to Hanumantharayappa, it was not an official questioning. The CBI officials follow the procedure in preliminary inquiry before taking up the case.

The officials wanted to analyse the CCTV footage from the house, apartment and Ravi’s office on the day of the death and also on previous days. The CBI officials on Friday again met the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials and discussed about the case.
