Bengaluru, (DHNS): The JD(S) on Saturday said the administrative machinery had collapsed ever since Chief Minister Siddaramaiah started his election tour in the state.

Siddaramaiah has kept himself busy touring the state as part of the preparation for the coming election and completely neglected the administration. The tour is aimed at consolidating his position and taking control of the party affairs in the state.

"If Siddaramaiah is so keen on the election campaign, he should resign as chief minister," JD(S) spokesperson Ramesh Babu said in a press release.

The chief minister is undertaking a one-month Nava Karnataka Nirmana Yatra, covering 124 constituencies represented by Congress MLAs.
