Mandya (DHNS): District Youth Congress members on Saturday lodged a complaint against JD(S) Lok Sabha member C S Puttaraju accusing him of threatening senior geologist Nagabhushan over quarrying.
According to the complaint, the MP threatened the geologist when the latter was in a meeting with the deputy commissioner on November 13. Puttaraju barged into the meeting hall with quarry operators and abused the officer in filthy language. The complainants said that the MP was into illegal qurrying and the video of him threatening the officer had gone viral. They sought the police to initiate action against Puttaraju on the basis of the video.
