Mangaluru, DHNS: Senior Congress leader and former Union minister B Janardhana Poojary on Wednesday predicted that Congress will lose the by-election to Nanjangud Legislative Assembly constituency in Mysuru district.

His statement comes when Congress is scouting for a suitable candidate to take on former minister V Srinivas Prasad in the by-election. “Whoever is the candidate, we (the party) will lose the bypoll,”?he said mincing no words.

Poojary felt it’s time for the chief minister to learn a lesson. “There is a limit for everything and one should not go overboard always.”

To a question on the possibilities of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) serving a notice on him, the senior leader questioned the source of the notice.
