'Ede Snana' performed at Kukke Subrahmanya

Subrahmanya, DHNS: A total of 124 devotees took part in Ede Snana—a ritual of rolling over the prasadam offered to the deity of Kukke Subrahmanya temple here on Tuesday afternoon.

Ede snana is a modified version of Made snana (a ritual of rolling over food eaten by Brahmins) which has been stayed by the Supreme Court. During the ritual on Tuesday, the prasadam was first offered to cows and the devotees rolled over the leftover. The Ede snana ritual will be continued till December 17.
