Five-member panel to draft CMP

Bengaluru, (DHNS): A five-member committee for drafting the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) for the smooth functioning of the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in the state has been set up. The panel comprises leaders from both the coalition partners, and it has been given 10-days time to prepare the draft CMP.

The Co-ordination and Monitoring Committee headed by former chief minister Siddaramaiah will finalise the draft. Former chief minister M Veerappa Moily, Revenue Minister R V Deshpande, Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar (all from the Congress) and Public Works Minister H D Revanna and former IAS officer S Subramania (both from the JD-S) are members of the committee.
