Bengaluru, (DHNS): Karnataka Chief minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday termed the IT raid on energy minister DK Shivakumar as an attempt silence the voice against BJP and politically motivated. He said the central government is using the Income Tax department as a pawn to curb their oppostion forces.

CM said, "It's not fair on central government part to misuse the IT body for their political game. Congress will not bow down to intimidation."

Siddaramaiah also alleged that there are lot of flaws from IT officials side in the process.

"According to the rule, IT officials are suppose to be accompanied by local police. But why did they use Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) during this raid?" asks Siddu.
