Bengaluru, (DHNS): Noted Kannada journalist Gowri Lankesh has been shot dead by unidentified miscreants on Tuesday in her Raja Rajeshwari Nagar residence, Bengaluru. She was the editor of Lankesh Patrike, a famous Kannada tabloid.
Gowri Lankesh is the eldest daughter of Kannada poet turned journalist P Lankesh.
It is been reported that the miscreants have fired three shots at Gowri, when she was standing outside her residence. She collapsed on the spot and succumbed to the injuries.
