Neermarga Church holds inter-ward dance competition

Mangaluru: An inter-ward dance competition was organized recently for the parishioners of Neermarga under the proficient guidance of Fr Anil D’Mello, parish priest.

The competition was held in five categories namely for children of classes I –IV, V-VIII, IX-II PUC, 18-30 years and above 30 years in mixed duet, mixed group and married couples.

The competition started with great ardor and zest. Spectators were thrilled to be part of the multihued, pulsating and revitalizing event. The maneuvering, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of all the participants were par excellence. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their vigorous performances. The adjudicators, Sonal and Sandesh highly prized the efforts put in by children and adults.

Fr Anil D Mello felicitated the judges. In his presidential address, father congratulated the winners and appreciated the performance of the participants and also encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to augment their talents.

Nirmala Vas welcomed the gathering, Cynthia Renjal compered the programme and announced the results, Jhansi Sequeira introduced the judges and Shalet proposed the vote of thanks.
