PM Modi lauds Siddaganga mutt seer's contribution to nation building

Tumakuru (DHNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a gathering over video conferencing (VC) at that valedictory of the 'Rajathayana' silver jubilee celebrations of the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Ashram, in Tumakuru on Sunday.

The PM spoke over VC at a program titled 'Yuvashakti Aspotana' for over 20 minutes. The gathering comprised mainly youth and devotees of the ashram.

The Prime Minister who began his speech in Kannada, lauded the service rendered by the Siddaganga mutt seer Shivakumara Swamiji to the cause of education.

The seer has trodden the path shown by Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Swami Vivekananda in nation building, PM Modi added.

He informed the gathering that he wished to attend the program in person, but is unable to, because the Parliament is in session.
