Pejawar seer gets life threat on Facebook

Udupi DHNS: Pejawar Mutt seer Vishweshateertha Swami has received threat to his life on a Facebook account created by a person named Abdul Salam.

The Paryaya Swagatha Samiti has approached the Superintendent of Police Annamalai and complained about the Facebook threat. The post in Kannada was published on November 23.

The post surfaced after the seer said, at a condolence meet organised by the district VHP on Sunday, that constructing Ram Mandir in Ayodhya would be the real tribute to the late VHP leader Ashok Singhal. The police said that an FIR is registered under the charges of IPC Section 295 A and 506 and investigation is underway.
