Rahul Gandhi pays visit to Dharmasthal

Dharmasthal, (DHNS): All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi was accorded a warm welcome during his visit to Dharmasthala on Friday.

He was welcomed by D Surendra Kumar, Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade’s brother, atthe helipad. He visited the residence of Heggade and held talks with Heggade for 10 minutes.

Rahul Gandhi is visiting Dharmasthala for the second time, Heggade said.

He reportedly told Heggade that he would implement the model of Dharmasthala Rural Development Project in Uttar Pradesh. After having meals at Dharmasthala he le for Kodagu.

At Sri Sannidhi Guest House, Rahul Gandhi was served chapathi and banana palya, Paneer matar, Pulao, Dal, green salad, pickle, rice, rasam, sambar, majjige huli, happala, sandige, balehannu bajji, curd, butter milk, holige, mango rasayana and wheat cake
