Rains lash Belagavi, Shivamogga

Belagavi/Shivamogga, (DHNS): Rain lashed Belagavi city and surrounding areas for about an hour on Tuesday evening. Overcast condition prevailed in the city and surrounding areas since morning. Rain, accompanied by thunder, lashed the city for about half an hour. The downpour also affected visibility and traffic on main roads. As a result, the traffic slowed down and vehicles were seen plying with head lights on. Moderate rain lashed various parts of Shivamogga. Sorab, Sagara and Thirthahalli received moderate rains towards evening.

The other parts of the district witnessed cloudy weather witnessing heavy rain at night.
