Bengaluru, (DHNS): Transport Minister H M Revanna on Friday launched ‘Palace on Wheels’, an exclusive bus tour of palaces and museums in Mysuru.
Two Volvo buses will ferry tourists to Mysuru Palace, Jaganmohan Palace, Lalitha Mahal Palace, Regional Museum of Natural History, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Cheluvarajammanni Mansion (Central Food Technological Research Institute), Railway Museum and Jayalakshmi Vilas Mansion in Manasagangothri.
A tourist guide will explain the history of heritage structures such as Town Hall, Devaraja Market, KR Hospital, Crawford Hall and the deputy commissioner’s office.
The tour will begin at 10 am and end at 6.30 pm every day near the Mysuru Palace.
The fare for the tour is Rs 999, including food, entry fees to palaces and bus fare. Tourists will be taken to Lalitha Mahal Palace, where they will be treated to royal food for lunch.

Tickets are also available near Kote Anjaneya Swami Temple in front of the Mysuru Palace.
