Ballari (DHNS): Leader of the Opposition in the Council K S?Eshwarappa on Monday asserted that he and Yeddyurappa were united and appealed to the media not to create confusion in this regard.

“Yeddyurappa and I are not like India and Pakistan,” the former deputy chief minister said. Eshwarappa claimed he and Yeddyurappa were together at the state executive meeting of the party held in Mysuru on Saturday and Sunday.

Eshwarappa, however, said the activities of the Sangolli Rayanna Brigade would not stop. He said Rs 900 crore out of the funds released by the Centre to the state for drought relief was yet to be spent.

Eshwarappa demanded that the state government bring out a White Paper on drought relief works.
